Dark Academia Girl Holding Books in Library Coloring Page

A young reader is standing among the high library shelves and is holding a number of books, one of them being those marked Poetry and History. There are many more books on the shelves around her, with clearly visible subjects such as Classics, Philosophy, Fiction and Art. The old-library atmosphere is achieved through the use of the wooden shelves, the stone wall and the big window, and a small stool next to the shelves has a burning candle and a leafy plant situated under a globe. The traditional dark academia atmosphere of the scene is due to the books, the academic objects and the simple architectural features, all of which prevent the picture from becoming too crowded.

If you want a traditional colour scheme, then use deep brown or walnut for the shelves, burgundy, forest green, navy, cream and charcoal for the books and the clothing, and a soft gold for the small details. The globe should have quiet blue and green shades, and warm amber or yellow can be used so that the candlelight stands out. The student's cardigan might be styled in brown, beige, dark green or burgundy to give a vintage academic effect. You have the option of colouring the picture online or downloading and printing it if you prefer a more traditional kind of colouring.
