About this coloring page
The mantis stands prominently in the center of the page on a large branch surrounded by leaves and plants. Its long antennae, triangular body sections, folded front legs, and extended walking legs create the recognizable mantis shape. Flowers, mushrooms, hearts, stars, and oversized leaves add a playful woodland setting without taking attention away from the main insect.
Green is a natural choice for the mantis, but brown, yellow, pink, or other imaginative colors can also work well. Different body sections can be colored with slightly varied shades, while the surrounding leaves and flowers provide plenty of room for contrasting colors. With its clear outlines and moderate amount of detail, this praying mantis coloring page is a good choice for kids and other insect fans who enjoy nature-themed coloring.
